Ringing in 2016 – NYE in Grand Rapids

Still not sure how you want to ring in 2016? Here are some options for celebrating the start of the New Year right here in Grand Rapids!

 

New Years Eve in Grand Rapids 2016

 

Grand Rapids Annual NYE Ball Drop Party

As always, Grand Raids has their New Year’s Eve party with the ball drop. Free concerts starting at 7pm include Tyron, Five Knives, Kevin Rudolf and Carolina Liar as well as local singer Ja’Leeyna Dooley who won this year’s Grand Rapids Got Talent. This event is free and open to all ages. Bundle up and head over to new location on Grandville Avenue SW at Cherry Street just north of Founders Brewing.

 

NYE at the JW Marriott and Amway

These hotels always through extravagant NYE parties! Amway hosts three themed parties including: A Top 40 dance party, country beer garden, and a retro throwback party. The JW Marriott will be putting on an exciting Mardi Gras themed party. Tickets are $45 in advance and $60 day of and include access to both parties!

 

New Year’s Eve Party at The B.O.B.

The B.O.B. hosts their annual party from 5pm-2am. General admission is $20 which allows you access to all floors. Admission/ Buffet Dinner (6:30-8:30) are $60 and Dr. Grins comedy show ticket for $35. All events are 21 and older after 7pm.

 

Beats and Bubbly

This dance party takes place at The Intersection with music provided by 104.5 WSNX;s Mike @ Nite, DJ Jason Veeder, Steve Swift, Mayhem and other special guests. Tickets are $15 and are for ages 18 & up. Doors open at 8pm!

 

Children’s Museums New Year’s Early Eve

Celebrate the coming of the New Year’s with your young children from 6-8pm at the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum! Kids can dance and play. There are crafts, kid-friendly hors d’oeurves, a kiddie cocktail bar and a year-end countdown/ balloon drop at 7:30pm
